“Moony” - Sensitive Smoke Project
Virtual butterflies that flutter about in space and react to the presence of visitors—if you touch them or try to catch them, they fly away; but if you hold your hand steady, they return and, with a little luck, alight on your outstretched hand. The “Moony” project is meant to make such a scenario possible. Its aim is to develop an intuitive interface that can be used in conjunction with smoke or steam, projections and sensors. A forerunner project has already been carried out. Water vapor serves as the projection surface for the visualizations. The challenge in taking this to the next level is developing the projection medium further to the point that it is itself invisible and the user can focus exclusively on the projection. Tremendous potential is inherent in the development of this project, which could ultimately make it possible to work with computers in ways that go beyond manipulating a keyboard and a mouse.

oder ihr wart bis jetzt nie dort? es ist unmöglich, dass sie spannend und toll ist und ihr kein wort darüber verliert!
wie der titel schon deutet -- ich kann doch nicht kommen dieses jahr; ich hab mich zwar gefreut (und vor allem euch wiedermal zu treffen) zu kommen, jedoch kam heute ein überraschender anruf und da muss noch was für eine atuofirma mit einem stern im kreis fertig werden und ich hab mich dazu geopfert, denn auch das macht spaß und bringt auch geld (hoho). oj, trotzdem danke für die übernachtungsmöglichkeit und vielleicht kann ich sie ja ein andersmal beanspruchen. dann wird auch ein miller burger gegessen und ein miller getrunken!
ich wünsch euch viel spaß bei der ars, und tut schön dokumentieren! denn ich möcht schon wissen, ob ich was verpasst hab...
kann aber nicht, weil keine zeit. und der hr hat gesagt er schreibt nicht mit für mich.
was steht heute auf dem plan?
ich will nämlich bald aus dem office raus (wenn die häuptlinge dann mal da sind...)
bis jetzt. für alle die herkommen deswegen ein kleiner ausblick auf die donaulände. spielplatz der klangwolke und omv klangpark wenns mich nicht täuscht. also alles im gange und nichts ist bisher umgefallen. der hauptplatz ist auch schon sehr nett präpariert. ALSO KOMMT ALLE HER, DAMIT WAS LOS IST!
